Sports Historian and Commentator Bright Yeboah Taylor, popularly known as BYT, has officially resigned from Kumasi-based Pure 95.7 FM, a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network.
BYT brings his six-year journey with Pure FM to an end after joining the station in 2020 from Multimedia Group Limited’s Nhyira 104.5 FM, where he had already established himself as a respected voice in sports analysis.
The highly-rated broadcaster is set to join Kessben 93.3 FM, home of one of Ghana’s most influential sports programmes. At Kessben FM, BYT replaces Awal Mohammed, who has left the country to further his education.
At his new station, BYT’s role will primarily focus on African football, where he will provide in-depth analysis on top football matches across the continent. His expertise will cover major competitions such as the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, further strengthening Kessben FM’s already formidable sports team.
Bright Yeboah Taylor is widely regarded as one of Kumasi’s most knowledgeable football analysts. He began his journalism career at Ash 101.1 FM before moving to Adehye 99.1 FM, both in Kumasi, where his passion for football history and tactical analysis quickly set him apart.
His move to Kessben FM marks another significant chapter in an already impressive broadcasting career.
