Joseph Osei, popularly known in the media fraternity as Sports President, has officially ended his stint with Kumasi-based Ash 101.1 FM to begin a new chapter in his career with Accra-based Max 89.7 FM as a sports journalist.
The seasoned broadcaster, who also doubled as a Foreign News Presenter at Ash FM, joined the station in October 2025 after what many considered an unsuccessful spell with AP Radio and TV in Kumasi.
During his time at Ash FM, Sports President distinguished himself with in-depth sports delivery, and professionalism, earning him a strong following among listeners.
His move to Max 89.7 FM is a major step forward, reflecting his growing influence in Ghana’s sports media space and setting the stage for a bigger national platform. — Accra stage activated .
