One of the true pioneers of social programs in Kumasi, the legendary Otwinoko, known in private life as Linford Kwabena Asare, is officially taking over the hosting of Ma Ko Sem on Ezra FM and Ezra TV.
Ma Ko Sem, a well-loved socio-current affairs program, was previously anchored by Maa Akos, until her surprise move a few months ago to rejoin her former station, Akoma FM—a decision that shocked many listeners in Kumasi. In her absence, Nana Yaa Konadu Ogyama has held the fort with distinction, winning admiration for how well she sustained the program’s momentum.
Now, with Otwinoko stepping into the chair, anticipation is at an all-time high. Many still remember his glory days at Radio Mercury, where his show Ewiase Mu Nsem dominated the airwaves and made him the most talked-about and celebrated radio host of his era.
