The Dichemso Methodist Co-Operative Credit Union Ltd, Kumasi, has demonstrated its commitment to education by donating essential teaching and learning materials, including television sets, to the Suame Methodist Primary School & Kindergarten
Speaking at the presentation, Mr. Opoku Agyemang Isaac, Senior Manager of the Credit Union, underscored the importance of education as a top priority for the Union. He noted that the donation forms part of the Union’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at supporting schools and nurturing the younger generation.

“By investing in education, we are contributing to the development of the next generation. The children are our future, and it is our responsibility to help shape and support them,” Mr. Opoku Agyemang Isaac said. He further encouraged other co-operative credit unions to emulate this gesture by supporting educational initiatives, stressing that collective efforts can bring lasting impact to communities.

The Headmistress of Suame Methodist Primary School, Mrs. Georgina Owusu Ansah, on behalf of the school’s management, expressed her profound gratitude to the Credit Union’s Management and Board. She described the donation as timely and impactful, noting that it would greatly enhance teaching and learning in the school.
The brief but colorful ceremony was attended by parents, pupils, teachers, representatives from the Education Unit, and ministers from the Suame Methodist Church. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and appreciation as the school community received the donation.
