The New Patriotic Party has announced that a run-off election would be held on Saturday, September 2, to determine the destiny of Boakye Agyarko and Francis Addai-Nimoh, who both received nine (9) votes in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential race held on Saturday.
The Special Delegates Conference was held to select five candidates for the final on November 4, 2023, but both candidates received nine votes, resulting in a tie for fifth place.
Speaking to journalists, the Chairman of the Elections Committee, Mike Oquaye, announced that if neither of the two aspirants withdraws, the party will hold another poll on Saturday, September 2 to determine the fate of Boakye Agyarko and Francis Addai Nimoh.
