According to reports reaching SeanCitygh.net, a polling agent for Hon. John Alan Kyeremateng in the North East Region was beaten up by unscrupulous persons.
Ali Zakaria, Alan’s agent in the Vice President’s home region, has been admitted to the Regional Hospital.
According to reports, he confronted some voters for showing their cast ballots to the public, which is against the party’s elections committee’s rule of conduct.
Lawyer Buaben Asamoah, who is the Alan Campaign’s Spokes person , confirmed the occurrence on Oman FM and stated that their camp has rejected the ballots cast in the region and will contest it for new elections.
He said no amount of intimidations will let the will of the people go astray. Another report says that , an agent of Hon. Ken Agyapong who happens to be a female was equally beaten up .
