The running mate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Roman’s Fada, has described yesterday as the saddest day of his life as the party and the family of the late Madam Akua Donkor gathered in her hometown for her final funeral rites.
Addressing the media after the solemn event, the radio presenter and political figure expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Madam Akua Donkor, the charismatic leader of the GFP. He emphasized that her vision and impact on Ghanaian politics would not be forgotten.
In a significant declaration, he announced that both the family and the party had resolved to uphold Madam Akua Donkor’s legacy. As part of this commitment, the Ghana Freedom Party will remain active and participate in the 2028 presidential election.
“The Ghana Freedom Party is not going into extinction. We will continue the good fight that Madam Akua Donkor started. Her dream of representing the grassroots and advocating for the ordinary Ghanaian will live on,” he stated.
With this assurance, the GFP looks ahead to 2028, determined to make a mark in the next presidential election, honoring the memory and mission of its late founder.
