Kumasi is set to come alive as the highly anticipated Ashanti Festival 2025 (AshantiFest), spearheaded by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, gears up to showcase the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and entertainment of the Ashanti Kingdom. Scheduled from April 12 to April 26, 2025, the festival promises an exciting lineup of activities focused on culture, education, tourism, and community development.
The grand opening on April 12 will see a region-wide cleanup exercise across all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs), reinforcing the importance of environmental responsibility. This will be followed by the Inter-District Soccer Games launch and an action-packed Boxing Night at the Paa Joe Stadium, KNUST, setting the stage for an electrifying two-week celebration.
With thousands expected to participate, AshantiFest 2025 is more than just a festival—it’s a movement to unite, celebrate, and propel the Ashanti Kingdom’s legacy into the future.
