A business mogul, Mr. Henry Opoku Ware popularly known as OWASS has today picked forms to contest the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary primaries in Bekwai Constituency.
Mr. Henry Opoku Ware has been a staunch member of the party for several years and has contributed massively especially, financial to ensure the progress of the party within the constituency.
Speaking to the media after picking his forms, Mr. Henry Opoku Ware stated that his love and dedication to the party influenced his decision to contest the seat to become a Member of Parliament on the ticket of the ruling party in Bekwai Constituency.
According to him, the current MP, Hon. Joe Osei Wusu has done his part for the people of Bekwai constituency and this is the time for him to take over the mandate from him and continue the lineage with developmental projects that will place the name of Bekwai constituency on the international stage.
“I promise to do all my best to make Bekwai constituency one of the greatest city in Ghana”, he added.
Mr. Henry Lookup Ware, who hails from Odagya, had a large following from his people amidst drumming and dancing as a way of support for him to pick his forms.
Meanwhile the constituency chairman of Bekwai Constituency Mr. Alex Ankoh Dawkwah Addai appealed to the candidate to be circumspect with the rules covering the election and warned the party members to flee from any derogatory words in order to ensure unity in the party.
