Ghanaian filmmaker Jackson K. Bentum has praised actor Adjetey Annan for his humility and calm demeanour following the successful premiere of his latest film, Mother’s Day, in Kumasi.
Bentum described Annan as one of the most composed personalities he has worked with, commending his professionalism and modesty throughout the production and promotional stages of the film.
The movie premiered on Sunday at the Royal View Cinema inside the SG Mall, drawing film lovers, invited guests and industry stakeholders for two screenings during the evening.
Mother’s Day featured a strong cast led by Adjetey Annan and veteran actor Akrobeto, whose performances were central to the film’s reception at the premiere.
The event marked Bentum’s latest contribution to Ghana’s expanding film industry, as local filmmakers continue efforts to showcase homegrown stories on the big screen and strengthen cinema culture in the country.
