Hon. Frederick Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Yentumi, has announced a major political support initiative aimed at strengthening grassroots participation within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Manso Nkwanta Constituency.
Under the initiative, Hon. Yentumi has pledged to fully sponsor the nomination forms for the first 1,500 party members who intend to contest various internal party positions once the forms are officially released. The move is expected to significantly ease the financial burden on aspirants and encourage wider participation in the party’s internal democratic processes.
According to him, the decision is rooted in his commitment to building a stronger and more inclusive party structure at the constituency level, where dedicated members are given the opportunity to serve without financial constraints becoming a barrier.
He emphasized that active grassroots involvement remains a key pillar for political growth and unity, noting that empowering more members to contest positions would help deepen internal democracy and strengthen the party’s base ahead of future elections.
Party members within the constituency have welcomed the announcement with excitement, describing it as a timely intervention that could motivate many capable individuals who have long aspired to take up leadership roles but were hindered by financial challenges.
Hon. Yentumi’s initiative is also seen as part of broader efforts to energize the Manso Nkwanta constituency wing of the NPP and consolidate support ahead of the party’s future political engagements.
