Mawuli Ekpe Peter, aka Abro de Bigmouth, Public Relations Officer of the Film Producers Association of Ghana, has expressed doubts about the success of Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Amoakohene Frank’s meeting with Kumawood stakeholders.
Abro’s concerns stem from the disunity among movie producers, directors, actors, and actresses. In an interview on Angel 96.1 FM’s entertainment show, he noted that most stakeholders don’t communicate with each other, making it challenging to revive Kumawood.
Furthermore, Abro believes that the stakeholders lack a unified vision, with everyone having different opinions on what they want. He suggests that the minister should first address these issues before attempting to revive Kumawood.
