Reliable sources indicate that celebrated morning show host, Kwame Tanko, popularly known as KT, may be on the verge of leaving Lawson 96.3 FM and TV. KT, widely regarded as one of the finest morning show hosts in Kumasi, had joined Lawson FM from Angel 96.1 FM, also based in Kumasi.
In a surprising twist, our sources reveal that Dr. Kwaku Oteng, owner of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), is willing to splurge significant amounts of money to lure KT back to the network. However, this time around, KT would be heading to Accra to host the morning show on Angel 102.9 FM.
The Accra-based station has been without a permanent morning show host since Okatakyie Afrifa’s resignation earlier this month. Sports journalist Sadick Adams Obama has been filling in as the temporary host. Dr. Kwaku Oteng is reportedly eager to secure a high-profile presenter to anchor the morning show, and he believes KT is the ideal candidate.
