Head coach of Dreams Football, Abdul Karim Zito is playing the season without ace footballer John Antw for the upcoming season.
John Antwi was an inspired signing by Dreams FC last season. The veteran striker’s goalscoring was key to Dreams’ CAF Confederation cup campaign.
Antwi scored seven goals in the competition (including qualifiers) for the “Still Believe” in the Ghana Premier League.
In an interview with experienced broadcaster Professor George Kuntu Blankson on Takoradi-based Skyy Power 93.5 FM, Coach Karim Zito uncovered the future of some key cogs, including John Antwi.
“John Antwi had a lot of offers, and I seriously wanted him to leave. I even tried some negotiations for him,” Zito revealed.
“I am seriously preparing for the new season. As it stands, John Antwi, Abdul Aziz Issah, Egyir, Abdul Jalilu, McCarthy Ofori, and Agyenim Boateng aren’t part of my plans,” Zito stated.
