It has emerged that the Amphitheatre project in Kumasi has been suspended.
A visit to the project site revealed that the project has been “suspended” and the workers lay off as a result of lack of cash flows from the government.

It will be recalled that the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Arts, Okraku Mantey, cut sod for the construction of the Amphitheatre last three months with assurances that the project had begun.
However, pictures of the acres project site at the Centre for National Culture show a lack of activity as the site has been cleared by the constructor E-Giant Company Ltd. without any indication of progress.
