As the Ashanti Region Inter-school athletics get interesting by the day, today and tomorrow (15th and 16th of May) marks another opportunity for the young boys and girls in our second cycle schools to make or break records for themselves and their schools.
As the Zone 5 takes their turn for the two days, schools like Amaniampong Senior High School, Anglican Senior high School, Kumasi, Obuasi Secondary Technical Senior High School, Kumasi Wesley Girls High School, Afia Kobi Ampem Senior High School, among others are set to make their ways into the Super Zonals.
In all, thirty (30) senior high schools from Zone 5 are taking part of the two day events in both track and field events.
So far, Zones 2, 3 and 4 have taking their turn with eighteen schools from both boys and girls sides already qualified to the Super Zonals.
It is expected that six schools from both boys and girls sides will qualify to join the already qualified schools.
