Filmmaker Jackson K. Bentum is finally speaking out about how the much-talked-about movie Ibrahim Traoré: The Last African Hero came to be — and yes, it all started with a script in his hands and a bold decision.
In an interview with Ruthy and Busumuru Sean Kingston on Sean City TV, Bentum revealed that he personally penned the storyline and handed it over to Kumawood star Lilwin to bring it to life.
“When I completed the script, I knew Lilwin was the ideal person to bring this story to life,” he said.
Bentum believes Lilwin’s ability to connect with Ghanaian audiences made him the perfect fit to deliver a story that’s not just about a leader, but about resilience, change, and vision.
