Ekpe Mawuli Peter, also known as Abro, the National Public Relations and Welfare Officer of the Film Producers Association of Ghana FIPAG, has disclosed that he has been able to change the face of the association’s welfare status in his term.
In an interview with Murphy Lee on todays radio , he stated after taking office, he realized that the amount supplied to a member as a welfare was not encouraging, so he devised a strategy to boost the amount by seeking extra assistance from members.
‘Because of this difficulty, I devised a method in which I request funds from members who are unable to attend events and programs of a colleague, I implemented this strategy, and it has been functioning flawlessly, sometimes raising 8000 cedis as a donation to a colleague.
He revealed that , before this strategy,the association was donating 500.00 to members when ever they find themselves in any situation that needs the association’s assistance.
