Renowned Kumawood actor, Michael Afrane, has expressed his willingness to wait for a potential appointment from President John Dramani Mahama, following his tireless campaign efforts for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2024 general elections.
Afrane, who traveled extensively throughout the country to garner support for the NDC, is confident that his hard work will be rewarded by President Mahama.
Afrane’s campaign efforts were not solo, as he was joined by fellow Kumawood actors Big Akwes, Christian Awuni, Nana Yeboah and others to campaign. Together, they traversed the country, campaigning for the NDC .
In an exclusive interview with SeanCitygh.com , Micheal Afrane said Despite his dedication to the party, Afrane insists that he is not pressuring President Mahama for a position, although he acknowledges that he cannot decline an appointment if offered.
Afrane’s stance is notable, given his history of vocal criticism of opposing parties. Afrane has been an outspoken critic of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), even going so far as to claim that following the NPP as a young man would lead to financial ruin.
