The Kumawood fraternity and fans of the late actor and skit maker, Bright Owusu, popularly known as C. Confion, are preparing to bid him a final farewell. C. Confion, who was also a protégé of the renowned comedian Dr. Likee, passed away after battling an undisclosed illness that kept him away from the limelight for an extended period.

The funeral is slated for January 11, 2025, at the Buokrom Government School Park in Kumasi. According to his family, arrangements have been finalized to honor his memory in a befitting manner.

Following his demise, several Kumawood stars expressed their heartbreak over the loss of such a talented and promising figure in the industry. Among the tributes, actress Vivian Jill Lawrence made a significant gesture by donating GH₵30,000 towards the funeral expenses. Additionally, reports indicate that Mr. Aka Ebenezer, currently the face of Kumawood, has taken responsibility for covering the remaining costs.

C. Confion’s passing is a profound loss to the Ghanaian entertainment industry. His absence leaves a void in Kumawood and among his fans, who cherished his unique humor and creativity.
