In an exclusive interview with Zionfelix , Ghanaian actor and producer, Lil Win, disclosed that he paid Nigerian actor, Ramsey Nouah, a whopping $40,000 for his role in the movie “A Country Called Ghana”.
The film, which featured a star-studded cast, including Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu, and top Ghanaian actors, had two grand premieres in Accra and Kumasi. However, the Accra premiere was marred by unforeseen circumstances.
Lil Win revealed that he had to fly Ramsey Nouah and his Nigerian co-stars to Ghana for a special event before the movie’s premiere. He also mentioned that the $40,000 fee paid to Ramsey Nouah did not include accommodation and feeding expenses.
Interestingly, Lil Win shared that he had initially wanted to feature another actor in the movie, but the actor’s demands were too high, and he had to decline. He humorously added that the actor’s team thought he was a Nigerian and quoted a higher price, not knowing he was a Ghanaian producer.
