Longford City, a premium luxurious event centre, sports bar and lounge in Kumasi has been opened to the public.
The All White-themed opening ceremony which happened on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, saw in attendance several dignitaries including Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (Coka), Nana Yaw Akuoko (Otumfour’s Assinhene), some executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), movie producer Rev. Samuel Akwasi Nyamekye and Gospel musician Broda Sammy.
Some media personalities including Bright Kankam Boadu, Boneshaker, Nana Benyin Anumel, Nana Osei Kesse, social media influencers (Opoku Bilson, Asafo Powers), comedians including Lekzy Decomic, Ato Pagh, MJ The Comedian and a host of others were also present.
Nestled in the heart of Krofrom, Kumasi, Longford City boasts a spacious indoor space suitable for all social gatherings including weddings, private parties, conferences, and more.
The first floor of the two-storey building also has a spacious and functioning restaurant, sports and lounge bar that can accommodate about 200 people at any time.
Speaking at the all-white-themed opening ceremony, Nana Yaw Akuoko (Otumfour’s Assinhene) applauded the incredible efforts of Chairman Odeneho Appiah Kubi (Coka) for his contribution to the creative arts space and the social impact of his efforts. He also implored the people of Kumasi to patronize the facility well to motivate others to invest in the space.
Aside from Longford City, Chairman Odeneho Appiah Kubi (Coka) owns Longford Soccer Academy, Longford Hotel, and Longford Event Center.
Longford City is located right opposite the Krofrom Market in Kumasi.
