Popular Ghanaian gospel musician Empress Gifty, also known as Mrs. Gifty Adorye, has taken to social media to sadly announce the death of her beloved mother, Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, affectionately called Agaga.
According to her post, her mother, Evangelist Annan, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, December 14, 2024, after a short illness.
Empress Gifty, in an emotional post to tell the world about the death of her mom, wrote:
Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan was widely known not only for her ministry work but also for her multifaceted talents as an actress.
She appeared in numerous movies and was featured in various television commercials.
As the family mourns their loss, fans and well-wishers have expressed their condolences and offered prayers of comfort to Empress Gifty and her loved ones.
According to the award-winning gospel musician, details of the funeral and other arrangements will be communicated in the coming days. May the soul of Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan rest in perfect peace.
